Dopamine is a chemical in the brain that makes you feel good. Its release is triggered by things like shopping, music, and most importantly… making your home FUN! Dopamine Design is my favorite interior trend of the year because it strays from the popular sad beige (scientific name) or gray trend - popularized by hundreds of influencers - that was starting to make everyone’s home look the same. If you’ve ever been to one of our workshops, classes or events, you know I will ALWAYS recommend colors, texture and pattern over design that feels more like a museum exhibit than a home. That is why I am ecstatic that more and more of these internet trendsetters are slowly starting to opt for a more maximalist approach that feels cozy rather than sterile.
